You are Loved Digital Layout Bella Blvd

Hello, Bella fans! Tya here sharing my newest digital scrapbook layout with you! As I was going through photos a few weeks ago, I came across this one of my sweet hubby and I on one of our anniversaries. I have such an appreciation for him and since we are approaching the month of all things lovey-dovey with it being February soon, I knew I needed to make a quick layout of the two of us.

I used the beautiful "You Are Loved" Illustrated Faith Digital collection to create my layout. I also used a few different pattern papers from the Bella Besties and the Plaids and Dotty paper collections. I  loved the stark white background with the pops of bright color against the black and white photo. Layouts like these are timeless and I loved making it.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to create a photo of one of your favorite loved ones as well! Happy Crafting my friends!

Winter Memories Digi Layout

Hello, Bella fans! Tya here! I am up on the blog today sharing my latest Digital Scrapbooking post with you. Well, this week on the blog, my paper scrapbook friends are highlighting out awesome Cut-Outs -and I wanted to share with you how if you are a digi scrapper, you can achieve a very similar look to the Cut-Outs by just playing with your Blending Options!

If you look closely at my "Winter" title - it does look like the colored letters are back behind the white border. The steps to achieve this are super simple. Create your title and make sure you add a pretty thick stroke around the letters that are white. Next, right click on your layer. Go to the "Blending Options" tab and when the menu opens up click on "Bevel and Emboss" and then in the menu on the Bevel and Emboss screen, locate the Direction menu, and then click on the "Down" button, This makes the letters sink behind your stroke, resembling the Cut-Outs. This is a super fun way to add interest to your titles and make them pop!

I used the adorable "Holly Jolly Christmas" digital collection to make this fun, wintery themed layout! I love the colors and the navy was the perfect match for my photo! I love it when a collection matches my photos perfectly!

Thank you for stopping by today! Happy  Crafting my friends!

2021 - Bella Blvd Digital Layout

Hello, Bella Fans, and Happy New Year! Is anyone else super excited to see 2020 go? I know I am for sure! Today I wanted to share with you a layout that celebrates my excitement for 2021 to be here and to share a few of my resolutions for the upcoming year.

I used the wonderful and colorful "Bright and Brave" Illustrated Faith digital collection. This one was right up my alley because I  love the contrast of the bright, happy colors along with my favorite color, black. It really spoke to me so I was so happy to be able to work with it.

I challenge you this new year, to perhaps create a resolution layout of your own. I am one who if I write something down, I am more prone to work on it and strive to accomplish it. The "Bright and Brave" collection is perfect for making these types of layouts so I hope you will pick this one up! Thank you for stopping by today-  Happy New Year!

Holiday Cards - Digital Style with Bella Blvd!

Hello there and Happy Holidays! One thing that I really love about digital scrapbooking is that I can whip up my own custom handmade cards in no time flat! And during this busy season, I am thankful for any project that saves me time but looks like I spent a lot of time creating it ;) I love making my own greeting cards and have really fallen in love with creating them this way.

When I create my cards digitally, I make sure to size them so that all I have to do is print the images out and then glue them to a card base.  These four cards are all created to be an A2 sized card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches) All I need to do is print them, glue them and send them! If you want, you can certainly add some really twine, buttons, enamel dots, or any other real embellishment you want to, to make them a little more dimensional. I'm telling you, digital cards are really fun!   Here are some close-ups of the cards I created with the adorable "Santa Squad" Digital Collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I have inspired you to give digital card making a try! I use Photoshop to create my cards and it really is super fast and easy ( well once you decide what cute papers and elements you want to use lol! ) Happy Holidays and Happy Crafting!

Tree Time - Bella Blvd Digi Layout

Hello, Bella fans! I'm so happy to be here with you up on the blog today! It's such a fun season, isn't it? I love this time of year and the times that I get to visit some past photos to relive some of my favorite Christmas memories! Today's digital scrapbook layout showcases some photos of my family and I decorating our Christmas tree. For years we have headed out on the first Saturday of December to drive up into the mountains and cut down our own live Christmas Tree.  In fact the area of the mountains that we go to is fittingly enough called "Christmas Meadows". This was the tallest tree we had ever cut down and the kids had an absolute ball climbing up on the ladder and helping us decorate this ginormous tree! A happy memory indeed! I miss them being so little :)

To create the layout I used the fun and festive "Holly Jolly Christmas" collection. I adore the navy and pink that are added to the traditional Christmas color scheme. The icons are so whimsical and fun! I loved the Christmas tree so much - I wish it was real!

So, if you have or are going to be decorating your tree soon - why not grab this adorable kit to create some pages and record your precious memories of this wonderful season too! I hope you all have a great weekend! Thank you for stopping by today!

Thankful - Bella Blvd Digi Layout

Hello Bella Fans- Happy Thanksgiving Week! I think during this crazy year I have become that much more thankful for so many things, big and small. When I was making this layout, I was able to think about just how much I have to be grateful for, and the greatest of these is these 4 other wonderful humans with who I get the pleasure to be with and share my space with. We have definitely grown closer this year as we have had to spend quite a few "forced family fun" days together.  I have grown to love them each individually on a deeper level for sure this year - probably one of the biggest positives that have come from this pandemic.

I used the stunning "Gratitude Documented"  digital collection for my papers and embellishments. I added some stitching, paint splatters, and made my own title from a font, and backed it with some of our Bella Besties pattern paper. I adore the colors in this collection!

I hope I have inspired you to make a layout this week focusing on what you are most thankful for. It was great to take the time to really assess what I was thankful for this week! Thank you for stopping by today! I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Children's Day Digital Layout | with Tya

Hi, there friends! Tya here! I am sharing my latest digital scrapbooking layout with you and  I couldn't be happier to celebrate this fun day! Today, November 20th

is National Children's Day! I didn't even know this was a thing! But you know we have Mother's Day and Father's Day, even Grandparents Day - so it seems right to also have a Children's Day as well! (Even though us busy mamas may think EVERY day is Children's Day lol!)

My layout uses the simply gorgeous "You are Loved" digital collection.  I loved the colors and all the floral and heart icons in this collection.  And there is something about using stripes and florals together that just has my heart -  just like these 3 cute kiddos do as well! It was a very special day in this photo as my son was leaving to go to college a few hours away and we had one last family dinner together on the night this photo was taken. Such a precious memory I never want to forget.

I hope I have inspired you to create a layout of the special children in your lives. Thank you for stopping by today! Happy crafting my friends!
