Just Married Card

Hello everyone! I am sharing a card I made using the lovely Just Married collection. I LOVE the beautiful navy blues in this collection - aren't they stunning?
This old fashioned car with the 'Just Married" banner was the center element of my card.  I added the car sticker to the card with some foam tape for some dimension. I tucked a floral sticker behind it for some added pop of color. I added some blue enamel dots as well.
The pattern paper  strip that I used on the left side has the most beautiful gold foil on it and I echoed the gold shimmer with some gold shimmer paint splatters on the off white paper. The scallop pink bow added a fun touch as well to this festive card. I tied a tag with a flower embellishment and one more blue enamel dot for good measure to finish off the card.
Thank you very much for stopping by the blog today! With wedding season quickly approaching, I hope I have inspired you with this card to give a little handmade card to the special couple. Happy Crafting !

Have Faith Frame - Echo Park Paper

Hello Echo Park fans - it's Tya up on the blog today sharing a home decor project featuring the Have Faith collection. Are the colors stunning?
I loved this ornate frame and when I saw that the collection contained one of my favorite verse of  scripture, I knew I had to make the verse the star of the project.
To make the background of the frame, I trimmed a 5x7 inch piece of the pink stripe side of the 4x4 Journaling  Cards paper. I then used  a 4 x 5 inch piece of the blue flower side of the 4x6 Journaling Cards paper and glued it to the center of the pink stripe paper. I then took a 1 inch strip of the Yellow paper from the Teal/Yellow Coordinating Solids paper and used a scallop border punch to make a scallop border and placed in on the top and bottom of the blue flower paper. I then cut out the "Be Still and Know" 4x6 card and trimmed it down just a bit so it fit the frame nicely and then added some foam tape to the back for some dimension.
Along the bottom edge I layered a banner die cut shape behind a flower sticker.  I added the "love" die cut shape to the flower sticker with some foam tape and then a few enamel dots as well. I  added this cluster to the outside of the frame.
Along  the top edge I added  some black twine and glued a few banner stickers to the twine. I  added a pretty blue butterfly sticker to the center banner piece and then some foam tape behind the center piece so it wouldn't flop too much.
I am so excited to have this frame as part of my home decor. I hope I have inspired you to use this beautiful collection to showcase your favorite verse as well. Happy Crafting!

 (insert blog photo here)
Hi there - Tya here sharing with you a happy little card featuring the sweet Good Day Sunshine collection. Boy, do I just adore this collection so much! The colors are stunning! So bright and cheery! I just want it to be summer right now!  To make the card I started off with a white cardstock base and  then layered a piece of blue floral paper from the 6x6 paper pad as the background.
 (insert photo 1 here)
I cut out 2 rectangles from the Stitched Rectangle Die cut. The larger rectangle from some pink dot 6x6 pattern paper and then a smaller rectangle from some white cardstock. I layered these on the background. I used a bright yellow tag from the Frames and Tags Ephemera and placed it on the card. I located a plaid frame and added to the card with  some foam tape. I  added a pinwheel sticker and 2 enamel dots up in the right corner.
 (insert photo 2 here)
I then located the "Life is Better in the Summer" tag from the Frames and Tags Ephemera and  added it to the card base with foam tape. I decorated the tag further with a cute mason jar chipboard piece and a lemon and cherry sticker from the Element Sticker Sheet. These pieces have foam tape behind them as well. I also added a teal enamel dot in the bottom corner.

To finish off the card I added a cute teal dot grosgrain bow along the bottom for some added texture.

The wood paneling paper in the 6x6 paper pad were the perfect background for the card. I loved the look of the paper to build the other layers on to.
