Thankful for my Family | Bella Blvd Digital Layout

Hello there! Happy Wednesday! It's Tya up on the blog today.  I really love this time of year. I love the chance that we get to focus on all of the things we are thankful for. And while I do try throughout the year to find time to be grateful for all I have, I feel especially thankful this holiday time of year.

We got the chance this week to focus our projects on Thanksgiving and well, I just could not think of a better subject to focus my layout on than on my family. We are such a tight-knit family and I truly adore each and every one of them and am thankful for them all individually in many different ways.
Here is my digital layout I'd like to share with you. Isn't the Gratitude Documented collection so lovely? I love the color scheme and the hand-drawn elements of this collection. I loved using it with my photo. Aren't those leaves gorgeous?

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to create a layout focusing on all the things you are thankful for this week. I know I will treasure these special photos and memories for many years to come! Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Crafting friends!

Shine On -Bella Blvd Digital Layout

Hi there Bella Blvd fans! Welcome to the blog today! And this week we are getting messy! Well -  maybe me, not so much - my layout doesn't have real paint or watercolors, or twine or staples...but it sure looks like it does! Believe it or not - you can still have fun with mixed media on your digital layouts too! And bonus! No mess to clean up after your done! And if you accidentally place paint somewhere you don't want it -  simply hit the delete button and start fresh! See isn't Digi scrapbooking fun lol?

I used the lovely "Make Your  Mark" Digital Collection to create my layout. The digital collections don't include all of the paint splatters, twine, etc. But a simple google search of "digital paint splatters" or  "digital bakers twine" produced plenty of sites that I can download these types of elements that you can use again and again digitally! I had a blast making this page of my daughter - who will be graduating high school this year - so this collection was perfect for giving her some encouraging words for this pivotal and exciting time in her life.
I appreciate you stopping by today and taking a peek at my layout! Stay tuned all week for more fabulous inspiration from my design team friends on how you too can get a little messy on your layouts! Mixed media (either real - or digital) is such a great way to add interest and depth to your layouts! I love how eyecatching just a little paint or ribbon can make on a layout! Have a great week and  Happy Crafting!

Hello Baby Boy Card- Echo Park Paper

Hi friends! It's Tya up on the blog today and I am so excited to share this fun little card with you all today. I used the adorable Hello Baby Boy collection for my card.
I have always been such a sucker for a cute baby boy line! I think this collection has the sweetest sentiments and icons. I loved this moon and star label that is found in the Ephemera pack. It became the focal point of my card and I built it up from there. I added some strips of paper from the 6x6 paper pad and the orange paper from the Coordinating Solids and notched the ends into banner shapes. I placed these strips behind the moon label. The clouds are cut from the Moon and  Stars Die Set.  I cut the clouds out from some dark aqua 6x6 pattern paper. I also cut a few stars from the same die cut with the orange solid paper. I also added a couple of squares cut from some yellow paper from the 6x6 paper pad along the left side.
If you look a little closer you can see that on the left-hand side of the card of the solid white paper, I used some yellow ink and the Twinkling Stars 6x6 Stencil for a little bit of variety on the stark white paper. I also decorated the card a bit more with a chipboard moon and stars. I added a cute smiling star sticker from the Element Sticker sheet as well. Along the bottom, I added a sticker border and then added a decorative brad tied with some blue twine. A few enamel dots were sprinkled here and there and that was all there was to it!
I am so happy you stopped by today. If you have a bouncing baby boy you would like to celebrate, why not give this cute collection a try and make a few cards of your own! Happy Crafting everyone!
