Lots of Love Mini Album Flipbook - Doodlebug Design Team Project

Hello there Doodlebug fans! Hope you are all doing well and that you are enjoying this beautiful month of February, the month that we get to celebrate all things LOVE! I am super excited to share with you my latest DT project using the super cute 'Lots of Love' collection! I did a mini album with a little twist! I created a fun chipboard cover that fits a 4x6 album in! This technique is such a fun way to house your albums of this size! (and it also gave me more room to decorate and play with all of my amazing "Lots of Love" goodies! ) Come and see!

As you can see the collection is stunning with its bright pops of pink, red, and blue! Perfect for a love-themed album! I used so many elements to dress up my pages and it was super fun mixing and matching all the different products to make some really fun, and interactive pages! Let me show you a few pages!

As you can see, I love to add all sorts of flips and pockets to my albums! The pockets are the perfect spot to cut out a couple of tags from that cut apart paper!

Look how beautiful the yellows are! Such a fun pop of bright color mixed with the vivid pink and blues! The florals in this collection are super fun to layer up and are great sizes to use in this size mini album!

And of course, no album would be complete without a cute Doodlepop here and there! I adore the shaker ones like this Tea one shown below!

The last few pages - good spots to showcase photos of all of your loved ones!

This little album has so many fun and interactive elements to it, that it is really hard to showcase with just photos sooooo - if you'd like to stop by and check out my walkthrough of this album - you can find it over on my YouTube channel! I'd love to show you just how much fun this little ( albeit chunky ) album is!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope I have given you some inspiration to grab this adorable "Lots of Love" collection and make a mini album of your own! Happy crafting friends!

Snow Much Fun Cards - Doodlebug DT project

Hello there Doodlebug friends! How’s the weather where you are? Here in Utah, it’s still looking a lot like winter – but that’s ok! I love winter! And to celebrate – I thought I’d whip up a few winter–themed cards using the adorable ‘Snow Much Fun” collection!

I used the card bases from the Cards and Envelopes Kit that coordinates with the collection. These six cards were super fun to decorate up with all of the goodies from the collection! Let's see what I made for you, shall we?

This cute card is one of my favorites of the bunch. I love that little peek-a-boo spot cut out of the card base. It was the perfect spot for the friendly Yeti on the Hello Winter Doodlepop to wave hello. The card was decorated with some pattern papers from the 6x6 paper pad and the 12 x12 paper. Some pretty flocked tulle added some fun texture and interest to this page!

All of the snowmen had my heart, but this little fellow, with his little snow cone, was the perfect addition to this fun card that features some of the Odds and Ends and Chit Chat ephemera pieces.

Everyone in for a selfie! I simply adored this fun group shot with all of our polar pals that is from the Odds and Ends. I added a couple of more friends with the bunny and the seal popping in. They are stickers from the Icon Sticker sheet. The fun "Snow Happy Together" banner sentiment was the perfect saying for all of these happy friends!

This little ski buddy made his appearance next to some of the snow-capped mountains and a big "Nice to Ski You!" sentiment. I layered that sentiment - found in the Chit Chat ephemera over the top of the original die cut. It was more appropriate for a card than what was on there.  Don't be afraid to layer up the ephemera and make it work for your specific project!  I  loved adding some additional sparkle with some stickles and the fun snowflake sprinkles found on the Snow Colorful Shape Sprinkles added a great splash of color and dimension to this wintery mountain card.

This file folder card was a joy to decorate up with the Winter Wonderland Shaker Pop! I mounted it on one of the tags in the Bits and Pieces. Some pretty snowflakes and a cute sticker banner sentiment from the This and That sticker sheet round this one out! Check out the pretty gems on the centers of the snowflakes - These are from the Mini Jewels.

This card makes me want to snuggle up in a warm sweater and drink some hot cocoa! One of my favorite card-making techniques is to layer up some of the Odds and Ends Ephemera and make a little smattering of icons. These snowy-themed icons look great mounted on some pretty glitter paper and some of the beautiful blue paper from the Textured Cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope that these cards have warmed your heart and inspired you to make a batch for your favorite pals. It's a great way to spend a cold, winter day! See you all again next time! Happy Crafting!
