Scor-Pal and Pink Paislee Cross Promotion Week

Hello there - Tya here with my take on the Scor-Pal and Pink Paislee Promotion Week. Pink Paislee products can always be counted on to be super on- trend and just plain beautiful. I love all the bits and pieces that we got to design with! Thanks Pink Paislee!

We were given some beautiful papers and embellishments from the Portfolio and Artisan collections. What I loved the most about working with these lines besides the beautiful color palate, was the way that I could add color to my embellishments with different colors of inks. On the packaging on the Artisan Collection - it says you can "customize with color" - so I did just that! It was so fun to see the die cuts go from just plain black and white to whatever color of ink I added. Plus the die cuts (I had the ones with the hearts) all have a cute pattern on them as well. The hearts had a darling chevron pattern on them. It was super fun to see what pattern would pop out when I added my ink! If you love color and patterns as much as I do, try these products out!

The project I decided to share with you today is a cute, quick and simple little mini album. I got inspiration from seeing this mini- album on a blog and I did a little adjustment to the measurements. This little mini album was soooo quick to put together (the longest task for me was having to choose the papers and embellishments to decorate with). It simply is 4 score marks and a little cutting and you are done! You know I love me some simple :)

So here we go!

Flip- Fold Album
featuring Scor-Pal and Pink Paislee
Supplies:
6x12 inch black cardstock
10x10 inch white cardstock
Pattern Paper from Pink Paislee Portfolio Line
Embellisments from Pink Paislee Artisan Collection: Resistable Hearts , Words - Travel,  and Zig-Zag Ribbons
small silver rhinestones (Martha Stewart)
Doily Stamp (Martha Stewart)
Sheer mustard ribbon
Light teal Bakers Twine
Yellow Chevron Ribbon
Mini Attacher
To make the base of the album:
Step 1:
Take 6x12 inch black cardstock and score at 5 3/4 and 6 1/4 (sorry mine looks like it buckled a little)
 Step 2:
Take 10x10 inch white cardstock and score it a 5 inches one way and then turn and score at 5 inches on the other way. You should end up with 4 square sections.
Step 3:
Cut between the 2 squares on the left hand side of the paper.
Step 4:
Glue white cardstock to black cardstock base as shown.
Step 5:
To fold up the mini album, simply fold the top left square over on top of the right top square.
Step 6:
Fold this section over on top of the bottom right hand square:
Step 7:
Fold this section over to the bottom left hand square (the one that is glued to your base.)
That is all there is to it!
Here is my album all decorated with the papers and embellishments. This album is the PERFECT size for all of those smaller photos that you may have, and would especially work great with all of those Instagram photos you have started taking! I received the travel stickers with my goodies and so I decided to add photos from our last cruise to the Bahamas! This little album was just the right size and honestly took me about 30 minutes is all to put together after I had picked out my photos and papers.

See the yummy Chevron pattern on the Heart Chipboard! Done with ink and a little Customize with Color Magic!

Thanks for joining me this week! Happy Scoring!
