Shine On - Bella Blvd Digital Layout

Hello there Bella Blvd fans! It's Tya here with you today!  I hope you are all having a great week! I am up today sharing with you my latest digital scrapbook layout! I used the awesome "Make Your Mark" digital collection to create this layout. Aren't the colors so great? I love black with pops of bright colors so much!

This is the time of year that we start winding down the school year. This photo was one of my oldest daughter's senior pictures. I converted the photo to black and white so it wouldn't compete with the bright colors. My favorite part of this layout is the scallop banners. When I saw these I knew that I needed to duplicate them and use them as a background element to put behind my picture. I simply duplicated the border a few times and then flipped it horizontally in my photo editing software (I used Photoshop) so that the colors would be opposite on each line. Don't be afraid to use things like banners and borders as larger decorative elements on your layouts! Digital scrapbooking makes it easy to resize your elements to your liking! And I like that a lot :)

I hope that I have inspired you today! Sometimes it just takes one special photo that you want to focus on to really make a unique statement and record a special memory! Have a fantastic week and Happy Crafting!

Always There Digital Layout - Bella Blvd

Hi there Bella Fans! It's Tya Smith up on the blog today sharing my latest digital scrapbooking layout! Well if you didn't know - today is National Siblings Day and I thought it would be fun to create a kind of "then" and "now" type of layout of my youngest two kiddos. These two were best buddies from day one and still to this day get along so well. It is touching to this mama's heart to see that their kids like each other still after all these years. I may have shed a tear or two. That is the great thing about scrapbooking is that you can relive the memories you feel when looking at the photos.

I used the adorable Family Frenzy Digital collection to create this layout. I loved the bright, primary color scheme of this collection and I also enjoyed using some of the many word strips that are included with the kit. I thought the half squares that I created from some of the pattern papers made a good visual element. It was easy to create these with the shape tool in Photoshop.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope you enjoyed this layout I created and it inspired you to scrapbook a few of your own sibling celebration photos! Happy Crafting!

Happy Easter- Bella Blvd Digital Layout

Hello, Bella fans! It's Tya Smith up on the blog today! I am so excited to be sharing this bright and cheery Easter-themed digital layout with you all today! Isn't the Sweet Sweet Spring collection so cute? Perfect pastels and happy little icons made this a super fun layout to put together!

Having your photos in a grid is very pleasing to the eye and I love using this technique when I am working with 3 or 4 photos. It also is good to add your embellishments around the perimeter of the grid so your eye moves along with the photos. Just a handy little design tip I like to use!

So if you have oodles of holiday photos like I do, try this type of photo placement! I loved that I could add more than one photo! Thank you so much for stopping by today! Happy Crafting!
