So - I was feeling a little bit in the springtime-y mood so I decided for my creative team projects this month, I would make 2 cards featuring butterflies! Lori has quite a few beautiful cut files featuring butterflies - it was a little hard to choose just 2, but I loved how these both turned out.
The first card is a card shape that I have never used before and I love it! This is the tri-fold shadow box butterfly card. I used some beautiful papers from the Jill line that Lori designed for Echo Park. The colors are so rich and vibrant and look great with my favorite basic color - Kraft!
I added some enamel dots to the lacy butterfly part of the card. I also added a fun sentiment from the Jill sticker sheet.
I cut out an additional butterfly and layered it on top of the other butterfly that I glued to the card base. I added more of the enamel dots for the butterfly body. The Jill line has some great embellishments that I loved using with these cards.
