Carta Bella Tartan No. 2 project - Mitten and Snowman Hat gift set

Hi there Echo Park fans -  It's Tya here up on the blog today. I am sharing a gift set I made using the Tartan No. 2 collection. I love plaids so these were such fun and festive papers to work with.

Both of these boxes were made using cut files that I cut out on my Silhouette. I thought it would be fun to do a little snowman themed gift set with a top hat and a mitten box. These are just the right sized to hold a little treat. I used the Red Buffalo tartan paper on the mittens and the band on the top hat. The snowflake is also a cut file cut from some white cardstock. Here are some close ups of the boxes:

I added some green cardstock floral boughs cut from the Jolly Branch Trio die set. I added a black jewel brad in the center and then added a sticker tag from the  Christmas Sticker sheet for the sentiment.

This was a quick and easy project to whip up and would make really fun neighbor, co worker  or friend gifts. Thanks a bunch for stopping by today - and make sure you grab these adorable Tartan papers for all of your holiday and winter paper craft projects! The colors and pattern are very on trend and would wow anyone! Happy Crafting!

Gold Foil Paper Pilow Boxes

Hello there Echo Park fans! It's Tya up on the blog today and I had the pleasure of working with a few of the stunning Gold Foil papers to make these pillow boxes.  I LOVE the gold foil on these papers. So eye catching and festive!

I created these boxes using my Silhouette Cameo and this cut file (I didn't use the pinecone decorations). The boxes I made are 3 different sizes, and I acheived the different sizes by simply resizing the boxes down or up after I cut out my first box.

To make the tags I used a manual die cutting machine and cut out 3 tags from cream cardstock using this tag die cut. I then stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment using some clear embossing ink and then some gold embossing powder. I die cut a few sprigs of pine needles from the solid side of the green foil paper using the Jolly Branch Trio die set. I added some green and red bakers twine to the tag to finish it off.
Here are a few close ups of each of the boxes:

I tied a gold tulle bow around the boxes and then glued the tags to the ribbon. These were really quick and easy to whip up. They would be great to keep on hand for any last minute gift giving you need to do. They would also make great decor as well sitting on a table or mantle.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I have inspired you to use the lovely foil papers for all of your holiday gift packaging! Happy Crafting!

Echo Park Celebrate Christmas Paper Crates

Hello everyone- Tya here, and I am up on the blog today sharing my project featuring the charming Celebrate Christmas collection. I love making little treat holders for people during the holidays! These cute little paper crates were a breeze to whip up and took no time at all for me to decorate and  fill. I plan on keeping a few of these on hand during the busy holiday season for all of those last minute gifts that seem to happen.
To make these holders I used my trusty Silhouette to cut these out. I  used this file to make the crates. I wanted them to be really sturdy so I  first cut them out using some Kraft cardstock and then I cut them out again using the Holly Jolly paper. I trimmed off the front, back and side panels and glued the pattern paper to the kraft paper.  I had a lot of fun decorating the fronts of the crates with various embellishments. Here are a few close ups of the crates:

I appreciate you all stopping by today! I hope these fun little holders get you in the festive mood ready for the gift giving season.  These would be great for teacher, friend or  co-worker gifts. Stop by and check out this entire collection! It's amazing! Happy Crafting!

Deck the Halls card | Carta Bella Christmas collection

Hello everyone - it's Tya up on the blog today sharing a holiday card that I made using the stunning "Christmas" collection by Carta Bella. This line is so lovely and is totally my type of line. I  love all the rustic elements in this collection. It made making this card so fun.
I used a few different products to make my card. I loved the Jolly Snowflakes embossing folder so  I made sure that I used it on one of my background papers. (photo 3)
I like to add a few different embellishment clusters on my cards so I used some chipboard, ephemera and stickers to decorate my card front. I also added some extra texture with a sprig of pine needles that are from the Jolly Branch Trio die set.
I added a bow made from some tan jute to the  top of my tag. I  also added a few enamel dots  in the corners. I love how the dots add a little shine and variety to my card.

I appreciate you all stopping by today. This Christmas line makes me want to make many more handmade cards to give out to my loved ones during the holidays. The collection is chock full of so many wonderful elements I am excited to use! Thanks and Happy Crafting!

Merry and Bright Layout | Echo Park

Hello there! It's Tya up on the blog today with a fun and festive layout featuring the Merry and  Bright collection.

How pretty is this collection? I love the soft blue they added and some of the pieces have some  beautiful gold foil on them as well. Such a stunning collection!
I like to add pattern paper to my layouts in new and interesting ways so for this layout I decided to add pieces of Holiday Plaid paper cut on angles and placed on the 2 corners of the layout. I like how it frames the photos in the center and draws your eyes there.
I used lots of chipboard and ephemera on this layout. I like dimension and these are fun to layer on the layout with foam tape and dots. Here are a few more close ups of the layout:

I really enjoyed working with this layout and look forward to making  a few cards, tags and other paper crafts with this collection. It is both whimiscal and classic looking at the same time and I love collections that offer that look. Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Holiday crafting!
